Goshen Valley Boys Ranch: Celebrating Family Day and Fostering Reunification

Goshen Valley Boys Ranch recently held our 2nd annual Family Day, a day dedicated to bringing the biological families of our boys together for a day filled with fun activities and family bonding. This special event, hosted at our beautiful Ranch campus in Waleska, is a testament to our commitment to fostering strong family connections and supporting the reunification process for our youth.

At Goshen Valley, we believe in the power of Partnership Parenting. Our goal is to support our youth on their journey towards reunification with their biological parents. According to our PQI report from last year, nearly 60% of the youth across all our programs successfully reunified with their families or were placed with close relatives. This impressive outcome underscores our dedication to creating lasting, positive change in the lives of the children we serve.

Family Day at The Ranch was filled with joy and excitement. The event featured a variety of activities designed to bring smiles and laughter to both the boys and their families. Highlights included a dunk tank, axe throwing, and a visit from the Kona Ice truck. The day was also packed with games and delicious food, providing ample opportunities for families to connect, bond, and create cherished memories together.

At Goshen Valley, we understand the importance of showing the children in our care that we value and support their families. Events like Family Day are vital in nurturing these relationships and reinforcing the importance of family bonds. We go above and beyond to facilitate reunification, offering supervised visitation, therapeutic services, and other supportive measures to help re-establish and strengthen family ties.

Thank you for being a part of our journey and supporting our mission. We look forward to many more years of celebrating family and fostering hope at Goshen Valley.
