The Goshen Family Resource Center
The vision of Goshen Therapeutic Services found a physical home in the Goshen Family Resource Center this year. This center serves as a hub for resources, counseling, and family support services, while addressing root causes such as trauma, mental health struggles, addiction, and economic and social hardships. With funding support from ARPA distributed through Cherokee County, Goshen embarked on a mission to complete the purchase and renovation of this facility, ensuring accessibility to all families regardless of income.
At the Goshen Family Resource Center, we recognize that communities are stronger when families are thriving. Through our Resource Center, we provide much needed access to supportive and strengths-based services and resources that promote health and well-being in a warm, safe, and welcoming environment for all. We are committed to providing opportunities for all families to grow and build resiliency.

Empowering Families
Goshen Therapeutic Services is committed to empowerment and inclusivity. The Goshen Family Resource Center offers mental health and family support services free of charge or at significantly reduced costs, eliminating financial barriers to access. Moreover, the center collaborates with various nonprofit, public, and private organizations, ensuring that every family receives the support they need, whether it is transportation, housing, therapy, or parenting resources.
We are collaborative with the team at the Family Resource Center to provide the most comprehensive access to resources and support not only to address mental health needs but to also support our clients in connecting them to accessible resources to nurture resilience and offer a guiding light of encouragement. We are ethically guided to use evidence-based approaches to promote effective and appropriate treatment tailored to clients’ specific needs to prioritize client-centered care. Serving our community in Cherokee County is an honor and privilege to be able to support and empower people to find their stability, healing, and growth by meeting people where they are and journeying alongside them.
