Goshen Valley Boys Ranch: The safety of a home, love of a family, and hope of a future.

Goshen Valley Boys Ranch, located on 160 acres in northern Cherokee County, is home to around 40 young men in foster care age 8-18. All boys participate in therapeutic counseling, public school education, and our comprehensive recreation program, all while living in a unique, family-based home.

Our goal is for every young man to know the safety of a home, the love of a family, and the hope of a future.

The Goshen Valley Difference

Our houseparents are the heroes of the Ranch. While most group homes have shift workers, our houseparents live in the homes with our boys, creating an environment that feels as much like family as possible.

Educational Support

Most foster youth struggle educationally. With intensive educational support, a young man at Goshen will on average see a 10 point GPA increase within 6 months. Our graduation rate among eligible youth remains at 100%.

Therapeutic Services

In 2018 over 1,800 individual therapy sessions took place at The Ranch. We believe in the power of counseling, and we have seen lives healed and futures changed because of it.
