Katherine Pearson currently serves as Chief Operating Officer at Northside Hospital Cherokee in Canton, Georgia. Northside Hospital Cherokee, part of the Northside Hospital health care system, is a
340-bed, acute-care, community, not-for-profit hospital. She also provides oversight for 55 outpatient healthcare locations in Cherokee and surrounding counties. Ms. Pearson’s experience has included
leading hospital general operations and related services, as well as community initiatives such as the Cherokee Sports Medicine Program providing athlete support across multiple county school systems, one university and Women’s Premier Soccer League. She seeks to improve the quality of life for residents of Cherokee County and surrounding communities.

Prior to working in healthcare Katherine worked in business consulting focusing on the information technology industry. She supported clients such as Accenture, HP and SAP.

Ms. Pearson is a member of the executive board of the Malon D. Mimms Boys & Girls Club in Canton, the Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce, Cobb County Chamber of Commerce, Leadership Cobb Alumni Board, Cherokee Fire Foundation Board and Cherokee Sheriff’s Foundation. She also serves as executive sponsor of the NHC chapter of Mended Hearts, Feel Beautiful Today oncology support program and NHC Tip Top Toast Masters.

Ms. Pearson received a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Georgia State University. She also has both a Bachelor of Science degree in speech communication and political science and a Master of Science degree in corporate/professional communication from Radford University in Radford, Virginia.
