Goshen Valley One of Five Southeast Finalists for Chick-fil-A True Inspiration Award

Community members can cast a one-time vote in the Chick-fil-A App throughout September

CANTON, Ga. — Goshen Valley Foundation has been selected as one of only five nonprofit organizations in the Southeast advancing to the public voting stage of the Chick-fil-A True Inspiration Awards, giving the local community an opportunity to help the organization receive a 2027 grant.

Beginning Sept. 1 and continuing throughout the month, Chick-fil-A One® members can cast a one-time vote through the Chick-fil-A App for an organization in their region.

Goshen Valley was selected for its work providing hope and healing to youth in foster care and vulnerable families throughout Georgia. Since 1999, the organization has served thousands of children, youth and families through residential care, therapeutic services, independent living programs, and family support designed to create healing, stability and lasting change.

“This recognition is a reflection of the hard work and dedication of our team, and the difference we attempt to make each and every day in the lives of those we serve,” said Zach Blend, CEO of Goshen Valley Foundation. “We encourage everyone to vote for Goshen through the Chick-fil-A App. Every vote helps us continue supporting children, youth and families in the most meaningful ways.”

For local Chick-fil-A Owner-Operator Kevin Williams, supporting Goshen Valley is much more than a community partnership.

“Goshen Valley holds a very special place in our family’s story. We’ve seen firsthand how they step into the lives of young people with love, hope, and an unwavering belief in their future. They have been nominated 10 times and to have them selected is a dream come true to fuel the beautiful work they are doing in our community.  Each person gets only one vote, so it only takes one minute. Open your Chick-fil-A® App, cast your one-time vote, and let’s make a difference!”

If awarded a True Inspiration Award grant, Goshen Valley plans to invest the funding in holistic, community-based support designed to strengthen vulnerable families, help prevent foster care placements and ensure more children have safe, stable homes.

The investment would further Goshen Valley’s work providing trauma-responsive care and creating long-term opportunities for healing and stability for children and families.
