Goshen Therapeutic Services Expands Access to Care

CANTON, GA (January, 2026) — Goshen Therapeutic Services (GTS), a program of Goshen Valley, has officially contracted with the Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD), marking a major milestone in expanding mental and behavioral health care for children, youth, and families across North Georgia.

After a rigorous, multi-year qualification process, Goshen Therapeutic Services is now authorized to provide comprehensive behavioral health services with Georgia Medicaid. This expansion allows GTS to serve more clients than ever before through offerings such as:

  • Clinical Assessments
  • Individual and Family Therapy
  • Behavioral Aide Services
  • Substance Abuse Services
  • Psychiatric and Nursing Care

“This new contract represents years of dedication and hard work by our clinical and administrative teams,” said Stacy Sabaka, Executive Director of Goshen Therapeutic Services. “It allows us to reach families who might otherwise go without care—and to continue our mission of promoting healing, stability, and hope throughout our community.”

GTS is already serving clients throughout Northwest Georgia and Metro-Atlanta, and this licensure will allow us to serve even more families in need throughout the region.

“Access to mental and behavioral health care remains one of the greatest needs in our state,” said Zach Blend, CEO of Goshen Valley Foundation. “This achievement ensures Goshen can continue meeting that need in a sustainable and impactful way.”

Individuals or families seeking support can contact the Goshen Therapeutic Services referrals department to learn more about available services and schedule an intake appointment.
