Upriver Fest: 5k and Local Music Festival
This festival kicks off with a 5k run/walk at 4pm. Then stick around for an amazing set list of local artists kicking off at 5pm and going until 10pm. Enjoy food, drinks, local vendors, a kids corner, and more all while you hear tunes from our local Cherokee County musicians!

Did you know Goshen also has foster homes? At Goshen Homes we recruit, train, license, and support foster families working with sibling groups.
Goshen Valley
Children don’t enter into foster care on their own terms. A child might be removed from her home because of abuse or violence. A young man may have suffered the death of his mother and has no where else to live. A young woman may be surrounded by a family plagued by substance abuse. However they come into foster care, they come with trauma, anxiety and a hope for peace.
At Goshen Valley, we believe that every child deserves to know the safety of a home, the love of a family, and the hope of a future. We exist to provide these for young men, women and children in the foster care system that they might experience full healing.
